Exploration of the Landscape

Each painting is an exploration of a multitude if ideas and experiences. A documentation of travels on foot and by bicycle in the forests which so majestically live and grow all over this country, and in the emerging forests of Detroit. As conscious living creatures, our existence is a continuous exploration of ourselves and the world around us. We are active participants in a story we are constantly creating, even though the outcome and the ending may be uncertain. We are the ultimate paradox; both the center of the mandala and a tiny insignificant flash. The only way to finish gracefully is to respect the web of life which we are a part of. Honor your mother, plant a tree.
